In 2022, the YIHE brand collaborated with the founder of "Xin Jing Cuisine" and member of the Black Pearl Chef Club, Duan Yu, to bring his wildly popular Sichuan restaurant "Ji Chuan" from Beijing to the heart of Nanjing's Xinjiekou shopping district, rebranding it as "Yu Chuan."

"Yu" harkens back to a historic Western-style mansion within the 1913 Block of Nanjing, once the first residence of Kong Xiangxi built in 1913, later transforming into a cultural salon for the era's elites, the "Gong Yu Lian Huan Society." Revived by YIHE, the mansion now houses Yu Chuan, infusing its name with dual meaning – a nod to its legacy and a reference to Chongqing's culinary essence.

Yu Chuan offers 36 regular dining spots, 4 private rooms, and a wine cellar, located strategically in the 1913 Block near Nanjing Deji Plaza.

"Chuan" embodies the culinary spirit of Sichuan and Chongqing, with Yu Chuan upholding the rich flavors and age-old techniques, reimagined for the modern palate, celebrating the regions' heritage beyond their renowned spiciness.
