The Yihe Garden, Nanjing

The Yihe Garden was considered one of the most famous gardens in ancient Nanjing. About three hundred years ago, Li Yu, a learned scholar at that time, moved to live along the banks of Qinhuai River, where he devoted his time to bonsai, Kun Opera, cooking, physical wellness, calligraphy, painting and collectables, leading an example of boutique lifestyle. Having recreated the garden on its original site, the Yihe team has inherited the architectural concept of full access to necessities in an enclosed area, fostered a sound atmosphere for noble recreations and reintroduced Li Yu’s boutique lifestyle, completing a modern Yihe Garden catering to living and recreational needs.
